On a wonderful holiday, my wife and I stopped off by a river to take in the amazing scenery. In conversation, I said "what do you think I should call the business?", I remember it as it it were yesterday. Her reply was a straight forward "Let me think, what have you come up with so far?". I didn't even have one suggestion or idea, but then something happened.
As we were turning the car around to continue our adventure, the sun came through a passing cloud - and at the moment we were turning, my wife shouted in excitement. "Wait - stop the car!!" she said, followed by, "can't you see it?" I had no idea what she meant. She continued, with ease, "look at the river, where the sun catches it," and then she effortlessly said "it's as if the river is silver". It was a sight for sore eyes. A few moments later, with me joining her as if it was meant to be, she started saying "Silver", and we both said "Rivers", and so Silver Rivers was decided on there and then!
As the name "Silver Rivers" settled in our hearts, it became clear that it was more than just a name; it was a representation of our values and vision.
